and eliminate taxes for those who make under $300K per year.

This sound fair, and will be a huge tax cut for over 95% of all Americans. Even Republicans have to love that idea!

People who make over $300K per year can't find enough ways to spend all their money anyway.

Actually just repealing the Bush tax cut which came after the Clinton tax cut would go a long way in helping to pay down the deficit, the war debt and we can use other funds (private) to help pay for affordable health care for everyone.

Raising Taxes will do no good because the Rich can afford the Lawyers to find the loopholes in the Tax codes and believe me it is usually cheaper for the Rich to hire the Lawyers than it is for them to actually pay the Taxes.

Did you know that the Kerrys who have more money than the Bushes actually pay less Taxes than the Bushes, it's true.

President Bush aka Mr. Tax Cut actually pays more Taxes than John Kerry aka Mr. Raise the Taxes.

Ironic isn't it?

No, that doesn't sound fair.

Who are you to decide what people who make over your arbitrary line of wealth should spend their money on?

It is not the job or responsibility of someone making over $300,000 per year to take care of you or anyone else.

I guess if you plan was passed and I ever made that big money I would do what I had to to make it look like I only made $299,999 per year...no taxes and health care paid for by people too stupid to get a good accountant.

Nope, never happen!!!!!

$300K per year is chump change for all the Democrat Politicians in government, all across the country.

You under-estimate the Hordes of Lawyers that the Democrats in Congress have working for them.

Democrats want the Working People to pay for Communist Health Care.
NOT THEM!!!!!!

No. What gives you the right to tax only a percentage of the population. This is basic theft and violates the basic ideas of freedom and fairness.

I would like to see Congress pass a law defining the middle class first.

Right now Congress uses the modality of the income curve to define middle class for taxes and just tried to use the median of the curve for Health Care.

Once we know what the middle class is we can work to reduce their (my) taxes.

No, we should lower taxes all the way around and get rid of the IRS immediately. The politicians waste too much money as it is.

I'm for raising taxes on anyone making over $150000/yr since I don't want Congress dodging the tax increase.
