Framed photos of other family members, including but not only yourself. People seem to like that. Especially grandparents and parents. Maybe not for siblings and children. For siblings, it might seem impersonal, but mine seem to really like it, is a gift certificate to a book store such as Barnes and Noble. I found it useful to listen to what my children were saying that they wanted. They will come up with plenty of ideas. And this might sound cold, but infants don't need Christmas presents, since they are unaware of the concept and won't be hurt if they don't get one. But you might want to start up some sort of annual Christmas tree ornament with their name on it.

I've bought my mum - A sudoku a day calender, an Elvis glass, an Elvis throw thing and A cadbury puzzle (with 2 chocolate bars).
My dad isn't really into anything and I want to get him something he doesn't normally get, but if I can't find anything I'll still get him whatever boots or shirts he needs for work and some DVD's.
I'll also get them both some sweets - like those Chocolate santa's.
I don't have any grandparents, children or brothers/sisters.

1. My Mum is having a voucher for a bunch of flowers when she least expects it over the next 12 months; my Dad is having a book about gardens.
2. Amaretti biscuits for Grandad and I'm making pot pourri dollies for Nannie.
3. Have none, but we're taking niece and nephew to an adventure place in the spring to go abseiling, rock climbing etc.
4. My brother wants a boat or a laptop, but my budget is £10-15, so he's got a make-your-own-boat kit from Hawkins. My sisters are getting binoculars (for bird-watching in her garden, or for taking to rugby) and a fairy-catching kit. They're quite different sorts of people.

For mum and dad, it seems that slippers, dressing gowns, and pyjamas are always spot on, same with grandparents.
I have no children but my nieces and nephews are getting colouring books and any other affordable things their parents may mention.
Me brother will get a kick up the bum, sister-in-law collects crystal and angels of all sorts. She's prolly get something else. I will ask everyone what they want. In reality, brother won't get a kick up the bum because he will probably ask for something else.
Last year he had a new Toyota, so I bought him a torche in colour to match (flashlight, that is) and a few other things.
Godparents got music they had wanted.

I have no idea what i'm getting my step-dad , he's so hard to buy for , he has everything lol
I have no grandparents
my 3 kids- im getting them a few new outfits each but mostly just toys . And my dog - who is like one of my kids lol i'm getting her some new toys and a box of treats .
my 2 sisters - we dont buy each other gifts we just buy gifts for the kids instead , like i buy gifts for their 4 kids, and they buy gifts for my 3 kids . I might just give them a gift certificate each this year so they can pick what they want , since their a little older .
