What styles of dance would be good choices for an actor to train in?

Probably Jazz, ballet, Tap, and modern.Also Hip-Hop would be good in case a major Hollwood directoer, asks if you want to go to the club.

Ballet, tap, jazz, maybe lyrical as well. Some places have dance for the stage but the styles they include differ from instructor to instructor.

I did musical theatre for years and found that ballet and jazz were the most helpful in the "traditional" stuff. Good luck!
