The Kurds are free spirited people, that travel freely between three countries of Iran, Iraq and Turkey, most prefer to live in mountains and heights, and they are all born to fight and defend them selves, they are famous for their good shooting and hitting the target bulls eye. 2 b continued

Logical point but you see, Roy L Hunt, a $25 million donor to the Bush presidential library, has an exclusive contract for oil exploration in the 4 Kurdish provinces of Iraq. If Turkey begins fighting the Kurds who are attacking it, it will destabilize the Kurdish provinces, and interfere with Hunt's contract! In case you haven't noticed, under the Bush doctrine, contracts take precedence over treaties (NATO) as well as the constitution.

He doesn't want to let them, because it would be an admission of yet one more failure on his part. The Kurdish area of Iraq is supposedly one of the "stable" parts of the region.

But since Turkey actually IS under attack from within Iraq, it makes way more sense when they say it.

I think we should be more concerned about how it makes you feel that all this is simply because the Speaker of the House wants to barb Bush and try to help herself and her party.
