Can I still cancel an aggreement after I have sign. I notice the contract and what was said was not the same. By law do I have atleast two weeks to cancel in writting.

There is no general rule allowing you to cancel a contract within a certain time period. But, you don't say what the contract was for. There are rules and exceptions that apply to certain specific contracts.

But, you may rescind (cancel) the contract if there was an actual mistake made in making it. You need to immediately bring it to the attention of the other party and ask that it be rescinded and rewritten the way it was supposed to be. But if they say that what is written is what you agreed to, you will have a fight on your hands.

With only a very small exception (sales in the home) contracts do not have a "cooling off" period. You could contact the people the contract is with and ask for it to reflect your understanding of the deal, however they are not required to accept the change.

This is why you should read BEFORE you sign.
