I don't believe that they are exactly ignoring the question, it could be they don't have a proper answer. I do not believe that there is a right time or a wrong time to ask questions, because the same question can be asked again two hours later and get all kinds of responses. I wondered about this very question myself when I first started, but then I came to realize that it really doesn't matter. Sometimes it just doesn't feel right, the atmosphere is charged, and I will just back out, and come back later.
Don't take any of it personally. When the smoke clears, it really doesn't matter .
Keep in mind that people who come to this site are in different time zones & an entirely different time of day. What may be evening in your neck of the woods, may be wee hours of the morning for the guy who answers your post.
Or doesn't answer it.. LOL

I'm not ignoring them. I'm always eager to answer any and all questions. Some nights are slow. But, I'm here, you're here, so let's talk. IM, 360, Email in Y/A's, whatever. I'll never ignore a pretty lady ! That would be very rude.

You, too? I asked a question about BUK at the wrong time of day and 15 min later still no answsers! I gave up when I realized no one probably knew who I meant!!!!

there is never a wrong time to ask questions, sometimes it just has to do with what u are asking. for instance, some questions are so stupid, it don't deserve an answer.
