If you are absolutely sure about your dates then yes, even with an abdominal ultrasound you should see at least the sac (I saw my sac and baby at 8 weeks). A vaginal ultrasound can pick up the sac as early as 6 weeks.

At 8 weeks you should be able to see the baby. I saw mine at exactly 8w and it looked like a gummy bear. The yolk sac is there but it should be starting to disappear/not function. Mine was waaaay to the left of the fetus. You should also be able to see the heartbeat. Good luck!!

many cases we do ultrasounds interior the early gestations and between the matters is that usually you're no longer as a strategies alongside as you think of and as a effect we basically see a gestational sac. while you're technically basically 5-7 weeks then it is common to basically see a gestational sac and issues are probable progressing alongside basically nice. the different piece of the puzzle is not any count if or no longer your scientific expert ordered a blood attempt referred to as a BHCG. This attempt comes lower back as a quantity and we can often at cases combine the quantity with the ultrasound. If the type of the BHCG is better than 2500 then we'd anticipate to verify a fetal heart warmth with a vaginal probe ultrasound. this is unlucky which you're able to watch on your answer and wanting calling the workplace and asking somebody to verify in the event that they are in a position that might actually assist you out with some suggestions you have gotten to attend. this is often very complicated to make the analysis of a blighted ovum in keeping with one solitary ultrasound or lab attempt and we can many times repeat the ends up in one week to verify what direction issues are going. Is there are danger this could be a common regnancy? genuinely. i could concentration on that effect immediately and watch on your physciian to return.
