I mean she is practicing her freedom to expose herself so that her baby can gain nutrients. Am I not allowed to practice my freedom of staring at her boob?

judging your picture, you are a man. you shouldn't be asking this
question.

As long as she doesn't start cussing you out for being a perverted freak all is good. Other than that she isn't practicing her freedom to expose herself... she is only keeping her child alive. What if some guy was to stare at your package while standing at the urinal next to you. I bet you would like that huh?

Post pregnancy breasts are not the prettiest things to look at. I can't imagine why you would not allow her the courtesy of not staring at her, even though I think a woman breast - feeding her child in public is just a bit tacky.

Tricky question - I do not mind where a person feeds her child, but feel she should drape her shawl or clothing to a modest level whilst doing so.
Having said that unless you are a bit of a perv would it not be nicer for you to look away whenever possible out of sheer decency if not respect, for mother and child?

As a mother who nursed in public all 3 of my babies I would say it is a tad rude to stare. Most women who nurse in public do not just "flop their boobs out" for everyone to see. Some choose not to use a blanket for various reasons...but to sit and stare is rude. I would equate that to just sitting and staring at anyone....reguardless of the breast feeding issue. Staring in public by itself is rude in my opinion!

Most women who breastfeed in public do it discreetly, like with a blanket draped over their shoulder and covering the child's head. Unless you plan on lifting up the blanket, there will be nothing for you to see anyway.

No you may not "stare" at her boob. She is feeding her baby, not giving you a "show". Please show respect the next time you see a woman breastfeeding in public and look the other way.

It depends...Once I went to go visit my friend and her new baby at the hospital and when I arrived she was breastfeeding. I looked at the baby and her boob just happened to be there. It's a weird situation. Your suposed to oh and aw at babies, but what do you do if they are attached to a boob. opps that's another question isn't it?

Well, that’s quite a rude way to put it, but it is in public so I guess you can look at anything in public. It makes me uncomfortable when women breast feed in public, I would just put the milk in a bottle, but that’s just me. Also, there are other ways to look at boobs rather than innocent women trying to breast feed their children. If you can’t see them in person…like I said there are many other ways.

First of all she shouldn't have it exposed so other people can see.I know babies have to nurse but there is a thing called cover up.It doesn't give you the right to stare at her, that is really just as rude.(Get a wife she won't mind you starring at hers lol)
