Please read the excellent book "The Case for Mars" by Dr. Robert Zubrin PhD. available on amazon.com and in some local bookstores. I think you will really enjoy it.

Do you mean will unmanned probes ever get to Mars? They already have (the first unmanned landing on Mars was in 1976). And there are 3 orbiters in orbit and 2 rovers on the surface of Mars right now.

Or do you mean will people ever get to Mars? Probably, but not for at least a decade or so.

We are on Mars right now with 2 rovers. At this time there isn't technology available to support human life on Mars but that doesn't mean we can't explore it with robots and learn more about it.

Well shuttles have already been to mars. It isnt going to be before humans are on mars as well. At the year of 2022 humans will be able to land on mars. by 2100 we will be able to live on mars.
