Also, how would I be able to (easily) remember what it stands for? I know I can look it up in my book or my notes again, but that hasn't helped me remember it obviously, so I'm hoping this does.

The folks, above, have answered the question, but, for anyone wanting to find out what a particular acronym stands for, just type "definition " into your favorite search engine, without the quotes (example: definition ATP).
You'll probably get a lot more than you thought, but, you can narrow it down by adding a word or two, such as, in your case, "biology".

As for a mnemonic to remember it, all I can suggest is that "tri-phosphate" is pretty easy to remember, so just concentrate on the first word!

Oh, and be grateful you're not a tennis player, because that would REALLY screw things up for you! (guess you'll just have to try my suggestion, above, to figure out what I mean!) ;)

Adenosine triphosphate

it's made up of adenine and three phosophate groups. knowing what it consists of basically gives you the name! :)
