In highschool my health teacher said this. He stated it as his personal opionon. For some odd reason it stuck with me. Anybody have any idea what he is talking about, and is he right?

Yes and no. They are over sized, modified sweat glands. It is believed that the mammary gland is a transformed sweat gland, more closely related to Apocrine sweat glands. So yes your teacher was correct in a way. The breasts do not secrete sweat but when needed they do secrete milk.

Geez, no! They are mostly fat, and have ducts leading to the nipples, which carry milk after pregnancy. The hottest part of my body is under my jugs though; they sweat profusely on the bottom.
