Sam is crammed with potential and exuberance; his opposite variety is morose and irritable. The plot revolves around Sam's efforts to get his pal to purpose "eco-friendly eggs and ham". The pal refuses to flavor the dish, and in basic terms desires to be left in peace. Oh, that's nothing! My daughter Emily (who is 10 today) HAD to hear "The Big Pancake" every single night for about 3 years. No kidding. She heard it so much she could recite it word for word, and heaven FORBID we tried to skip a page...LOL...those were the days. I look back and wish they were little again. I'd say to my husband, I'll do the dishes AND bathe the kids if you do the jammies and the story....he was so good about it...LOL
