I think that's pretty apparent. It's actually one of the smartest moves she could have made. She's basically an empty suit who is NOTHING without the influence and clout of her husband. If she captures the White House, Bill Clinton will be the reason why.

Yes and a yet a resounding no as well.

Of course she looked at her ambitions. In general humanists have more flexible morals when their interests could be compromised.

On the other side of the coin liberal politicians usually have a much lower divorce rate than the majority of conservative movers and shakers. I scratch this up to conservatives are less likely to accept an infidelity as a one time thing.

Unlike a previous poster I believe that the marital affairs of our countries leaders and law makers are of immanent importance to the public. If you choose to live life in the public as an elected official.

The government does not belong in the private citizens bedroom but as elected officials you CHOOSE to live in a glass house. Everything you do can be a reflection of your leadership.

I think so, Al Gore tried to stab Clinton in the back and it cost him the Presidency, some say he should have won anyway but it shouldn't have even been close Gore should have rode Clinton's coattails right in like elder Bush did with Reagan, Hilary realized Gore's mistake, she's not stupid, a lot of people still have high regard for Bill, to knock him down is suicide politically.

Politics make people crazy (Hillary) and will go to extremes to get that vote!

Why she let him stay is still a mystery to me! "Own political gains" must over ride the unforgivable!

When I saw him standing next to her, she instantly got one less vote. Should have gone it alone!

People are "used" for there own personal gains. Not only with politics.

Oh brother, it was just a stupid bj. Maybe Hillary has more maturity than many people can possibly comprehend. You know what, there's a lot more to a relationship than that. "Stand by her man" is absurd. Maybe she just loves the guy or did that possibility not cross mainstream America's mind when Ken Starr was running around like a bozo yelling "I've got his DNA." What a sorry period of history that was, not because of what happened between two consenting adults, but because it brought out all the right wing holier-than-thou bible-thumping prudes that probably wondered in their heart of hearts why they never got one. A bj, that is. Bomb innocent children and women and call it collateral damage and sleep at night, but god forbid somebody gets a bj. They should call it a blow vacation and get rid of the negative stigma.

Yes, of course she did. Back when she "married" him as the new and upcoming youngest Governor of the state. Remember her trying to grab power as the new First Lady...trying to conquer health care? Failed. Then later as the forgiving wife...gag me! Please no more Clinton's in the White House. No more Bush either. Eight years of Clinton was enough. Twelve of Bush was enough. Let's move on. My campaign slogan for the '08 elections is "Anyone but Her." Out of all the candidates, I like Gore and he's not even running.

Of course she did. She'd be a nobody right now if she'd dumped him like most self-respecting women would have. For her it was a purely political calculation, her own self-respect wasn't a factor. That's not to say that a lot of gullible people have bought her "stand by her man" line like she really means it.

Gold star for the epiphany! Hilary does nothing for anyone but Hilary's political aspirations.
