does the nuva-ring help menstrual cramps?

i have such horrible cramps they keep me home from school. i'm desperate!

Yes, any kind of hormone usually helps. But what REALLY helps is to take constant hormones and not have a period. Then there are really no cramps! Works for me!

While I was using the ring I noticed that my periods were a bit lighter and my cramping was not as bad. Talk to your obgyn about it.
