Yes, a woman with downs can have children and the risks would be higher that she would have a child with Downs. I work in peds and we have a lot of our Down's girls on birth control because 1. they don't always know WHAT they are consenting to 2. They don't know how to take care not to get pregnant and 3. Sadly, there are many people who take advantage of these people and rape them which can result in pregnancy.
Hope this helps....

She can have children if she chooses to. The child is at higher risk of having downs syndrome though most babies born to women with downs syndrome are perfectly normal and healthy.

Each person with downs syndrome is different, some have the mentality of children and some are more mature and are aware of adult relationships and other things that most children wouldn't understand. I guess in a way there are different forms or severities of down syndrome. If she understands what an adult relationship is, then yes she can agree to a sexual relationship. If she has the mentality of a young child then I would say no she can't agree to it.

It depends on the severity of her symptoms whether or not she can legally consent to a sexual relationship; some individuals with Down (not downs) Syndrome have enough mental facility to make adult decisions while others do not.

Yes, they can reproduce as easily as anyone else. There is no absolute certainty that their offspring would also have Down Syndrome but they are much more likely to, enough so that they are very gently and carefully encouraged to consider it from all angles before making the decision to reproduce, just as anyone else with a genetic disorder would be.

Is she able to get pregnant? Yes. Would the baby have Downs Syndrome? Not necessarily. Can she consent to sexual relations? Depending on the severity of her Downs, of course she could.

there is no physical reason why a woman with down's syndrome cannot have a baby.
depending on the severity of her down's she may even be capable of raising it.
as to whether or not the child would have down's it's a roll of the genetic dice on that and the chances are 1 in 4 if the father was not down's, and 2 in 4 if he did.
