Its not strangers per se but happens in close quarters, let's say in a group or school/work setting as an example. I dont think it's about looks either. Since im far from ugly. So what could it be about?

Because people are that shallow and having nothing better to do.
Who gives a **** what they say. I always say to kill em with the smiles. Smile at em and walk away!

Possibly rumours are going around about you. Either ask the people directly or just ignor e it and don't let it get to you.

if it happens most of the time, probably you have this psychological state (sorry, i forgot the term) that you think everyone is talking about you where in fact their not. you're just too conscious of other people talking about your "negatives" so ignore them. you should appreciate yourself more.
