That's a hard one. If you have some time to still decide, maybe take the time to get to know the other girl and if you seem to click, then go for it. Even the three of you should go out and do something together a couple of times and that should give you an idea how the three of you are together. If you find it's going to be a problem, then go on your own, but it's always nice if you can go with someone. Do you have someone else you can ask?

three is not always a crowd. and three heads are better than two.
you should go with both girls, that would be so much more fun than going solo. Don't look at the 3rd person as a odd # but as an oppurtunity to meet someone new and have a great time with.
Hey! 1 is an odd # too. Don't forget that.
Good Luck and Have Fun.

Nobody wants to be the third wheel. I'd say straight up that you thought you were signing up for a trip with just the two of you, not a threesome. Tell her if she'd rather take her other friend, just tell you so. Otherwise, you think it should still be just the two of you. You don't even know the other girl. If she'd rather take her other friend, at least you know it's you that would of been the third wheel, and it's best if you find another partner or go solo.

There are good reasons for either choice. If I had this opprotunity, though, I'd prefer to travel alone, because then I could make friends with the 'natives' instead of being with a 'group' of Americans. But if you did travel with the 'group' you would become 'friends' with the third girl, or you could all end up 'enemies' at the end of the trip. GO ALONE. Make friends around Europe.

I would do it with them. Being solo would be more miserable. I tend to always end up having groups of three with everything I do with my friends, but don't let you or the other girl get left out. If you sit back and let that happen of course you're going to get left out. Explain to them that you want to make sure that none of you get left out on the trip. You should get to know that other girl more, just talk to her on myspace or something before you go. That will save awkwardness.

All 3 go.
If this girl is your best friend, then obviously you share some personality traits, and like the same type of person. Chances are you will all get back and be 3 best friends.

I wouldn't skip out on a trip with your best friend just because of an odd number. If your best friend is that close with another person, theres a good chance that you could be equally compatible with them as well. Go for it... you could end up with a new friendship.

I would go for it! If the girl seems nice then she probably is. And maybe you'll make another best friend. Plus if you are alone there is still a chance of you feeling lonely (there is ALWAYS a chance of that happening no matter what).

i think you should go for it...this is a once in a lifetime experience, and you are going to meet so many new people. so even if three is a crowd, you'll have a ton of other new friends you can get to know.
