Let me make myself clear that i in no way shape or form support or advocate the KKK, but yes they should. that's what a democracy is all about. accepting that other people have political views that may abhor the majority of us, they still have the right to express them. we on the other hand have the right to not listen to them.

I also hate communists too, and Nazis, but they have the right to march and try and tell people their opinions. I'm a conservative who believes in conservative values and the rights of citizens to vocalize their opinions. no matter how dumb i happen to think they are

Under the United States Constitution, even the KKK has the right to " apply " for a permit. It may or may not be granted depending on the purpose for the " parade." And I might also add it does not matter where. Only why ?

The USA does allow peacful marches as long as they obtain a permit. KKK has fewer than 6000 members in a country of almost 300 million. They sure get a lot of attention for such a small group.

Yo Its me is just reacting to react.

KKK and other racist adn anti-semtc groups DO march in areas where their hate targets are found, and the supreme Court has ruled long ago that this is fine. Look up Skokie Illiinois in wikipedia -probably will find a good example there. If not, keep researching the history of Skokie.

There are no grounds to deny a permit in your question.

Well based on some of the other repugnant (Left Wing) organizations that are permitted to parade where ever they want, I think it would be allowed. Now is it right? No, but fair is fair. And one point is that that Left would like the parade route and be really disruptive (something that the Right does not do when Left Wing things like this occur).

If the KKK is not an illegal organisation, then they should have the right to parade wherever they want. It's to be hoped that their parade would be rained upon heavily.

I don't think they have ever been denied a permit! If they were the ACLU would come to their defense, just as they would Jesse Jackson rainbow coalition.

They should absolutely get a permit. Its America...

They had a rally here in NYC a few years ago... it was mad funny. It was like 25 dudes in white sheets, and thousands of counter-protesters. The cops had to get them out of there beforte the mob tore them up.
