Currently there are people getting Social Security who shouldn't. They didn't pay into it. Social Security was intended for retired people as a supplement to what they have saved so they can live independently. It was never intended to go for some crippled kid whose dad died or to some guy hurt in an auto accident. It was never intended for anyone other than the senior citizens, retirees who paid into the system. It was also not a piggy bank for Congress to dip into for some purpose or other. We need to restore it to what it was intended for and to pay back, with interest, all the misappropriated and misspent money taken from Social Security.

Well, seeing that the social security fiasco is just that because the federal government raped the funds and left the system full of IOU notes, maybe it learned from its mistakes and now we should all feel comfortable having the government run all our 401k retirement plans (thank you, HiLiary) because I'm sure the government has learned not to mismanage the monies entrusted to it, has learned to be for fiscally sound, right? Sure, let's just socialize the whole darn system under the thumb of some post-menopausal dame and then we'll really learn what it feels like to go snowboarding off the face Mount Everest into the darkest depths of hell.
