I've got a sharp pain in my right side kind of near my hip bone which comes and goes and occassionally get a sharp pain in my vagina. I'm 11/12 days past ovulation. My boobs are really sore, enough to wear a bra in bed but some months I do get that anyway so not sure if sore boobs would be a sign for me.
Please no silly answers or time wasters
Thanks in advance

Those symptoms could be pregnancy or impending menstruation. Drink plenty of water and get a pregnancy test.

Would this be your first pregnancy? Because if it is, then sharp pains on the side are generally not a symptom. Once you've had other pregnancy's your body tends to respond and stretch faster, so it could be your ligaments pulling and stretching if you've had a full-term pregnancy in the past.
At 11/12 days post ovulation, you might also be having pre-menstrual symptoms as you should begin to menstruate at around 14 days PO (regardless of length of cycle, this is generally true). Sore boobs are a sign of both pregnancy and menstruation.
I would get a sensitive test (First Response has worked great for me) and contact your doctor if it's negative and you don't start your period within the next few days.

Yes that pain in your right side could very well be a tendon stretching to accomodate a growing uterus. It sounds like something that wouldn't happen until late in the pregnancy but those tendons are small, and that was one of the very first signs that I recognized in my second pregnancy; when you twist your body at weird angles, it feels like a tight pulling sensation just inward from your hip? And the sore boobs is probably another indicator. Do you have a few bumps or dark spots on your areolas (dark skin around your nipples) that are not usually there?

I would be a little more worried about the vaginal pain though. Does it happen during & after intercourse or all the time? The cervix can become more sensitive during pregnancy which can cause intercourse to be painful... but I think you might should see a doc about this one.

Of course the best way to know is to take a test or see a doc, but sounds like a probable positive to me. Have fun!!

I dont want to get your hopes up because my husband and I tried for a year to get pregnant and every symptom every month was a possible pregnancy symptom to me and everytime I started my period I was in shambles, but I had those same symptoms you are experiencing now. Have your breasts grown at all?? Mine grew a cup and a half in a week when I first got pregnant. So it is very possible that you could be! I pray that you are!! 11/12 days past ovulation is still alittle early to test so If you can wait 4 or 5 more days or till your period is late I would. God Bless hun and I pray that you are!! Good LUCK!!

You definately are showing some signs of pregnancy!
The sharp pain could be implantation and the sore boobs are definately a sign of pregnancy. If the pain worsens though definately go and see a doctor. But yep you are showing early signs of pregnancy.
Some others are:
Increased urination
Trouble sleeping
Strange dreams
Bloated stomach
Nose bleeds (rare sign)
Missed period.

Best of luck to you.

I am also 10/12 days past ovulation, and have been getting bad back, a cramping in the right side of my pelvic area, I had this when i was pregnant with my first child, so im crossing my fingers that it means im pregnant, some women know straight away if they are pregnant, I suppose it depends how in touch you are with your own body. Cramping is usually due to the egg implanting into the uterus because they utuerus starts to swell as well as the egg burrowing deeper into the uterine wall. Good luck!!

First off if you have any weird pains you need to see a gyno, it could be anything. I get weird pains in the same area and i have cysts on my ovaries. Everyone has them so nothing too serious, they are just painful when they burst. The soreness in ur boobs is always gona happen pregnant or not. I get sore boobs when im on my period off my period and in between...it may mean they are growing. If your pregnant do not take any medicine that is not approved by a doctor first. Goodluck

Fingers crossed for you! It does sound promising but obviously dont get your hopes up...just in case. Every pregnancy is different. Good luck... keep us posted XX

There would be no reason for a sharp pain anywhere in your body at the beginning of a pregnancy.
Definitely see a doctor--pain which is defined as sharp is almost always a sign that something needs to be looked at!

Many women have low period-like pain or cramps for a day or so early in pregnancy around the time the embryo is embedding itself in the lining of the uterus. you should probably buy a pregnancy test, or just wait to see if you get your period or not! good luck sweetie. (i to have been experiencing the same things but for some odd reason the pain sometimes come to my breast! weird right?)

Please go to your doctor straight away, this could be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy, don't leave it and wait and see, ectopics can kill in a very short space of time. If your pain gets worse (doubled over) you get shoulder tip pain in one or both shoulders, feel faint or dizzy, get vomiting or diarrhoea or lose any brownish discharge go straight to A&E.
Your symptoms could be a bladder infection but it could be worse so get it checked out asap
Good Luck xx
