People (actually old people) In black and white! It's difficult to not get great composition! The texture is always so intense! I've been at the pow wow here with a telephoto, B&W film and too many subjects to choose from! Old American Indians are my favorite! Wish I could have gotten closer with a standard lens, the telephoto may make it grainy!

Scenery. We go to China every other year and my Dad LOVES photography. He ends up taking the most amazing pictures. We also go to the Shenandoah Mountains every fall. It's stunning!
And wildlife (under animals) and things in black and white.
I suck at taking photography, though. :P
I LOVE pictures of flowers the most though. They are absolutely gorgeous. I love putting them into Photoshop and editing them so they have a droplet of water there, a petal here, there. Now that is my favorite type of photography.

People- without a doubt.
And- specifically Candid photography. People captured in a moment. Something that sets a mood, says something about the time, place, culture, etc. And- is executed well, with good lighting and balance.
Here's a good example (of course I'm choosing from one of the best that ever lived)

If you can connect with the souls of the artists and models then you can enter the photo and imagine you are there.
I could joke and say the bondage photos are obviously captivating but that is not a real answer now is it.
As for animals things and scenery thall seem to be free or timeless so I never see them as captured in a photo.

Micro photography. The presentation of images that display the existence of factors and life that are contributive and necessary for the continuation of the evolution and specialization of all species that result in the progress of life on our planet fascinate me.

I can find anything captivating if the photography is good.
I am mostly drawn to photography of tornadoes though.
