This may seem like an odd question but I'm just wondering as I would like to have a baby at some stage over the next couple of years but I'm so afraid that my body will change so much my partner will then be disgusted by it... does this happen?

when my girlfriend was pregnant i thought that she was very sexy when a woman is carrying your child she is the most beautiful woman ever that belly and thighs the backside and breasts nothing is better even now after five years she still has some stretch marks but that is not disgusting as i look at them and think of my beautiful daughter who put them there i see as a sign of beauty and she still does it for me just by looking i don't need to touch maybe it is because i love her deeply

My husband did go off me a bit during the pregnancy. This was not about my body however, it was because he felt concious of baby being physically in between us, and couldn't get into the moment!! SInce my baby has been born my body has slowly started to reduce (baby is now 2 weeks old), and with the knowledge that baby is not there he is all over me and very passionate, seems my post pregnancy body is very appealing to him and he wants to make up for lost time!!! So if the man loves you and desires you it won't matter how much you change!

To be honest alot of women, although they may admit it, have asked themselves that question.
Honestly every man is different. I have come across some very shallow and ignorant males. And yes they are disgusted with the women after having a baby. There is nothing you can do for people like that.
A baby is a blessing and yes you will gain weight, (less if you eat smart and exercise).
I asked myself the same question when I found out I was pregnant and it made me a little uneasy.
I was fortunate to be with a man who was not ignorant and loved all of me no matter what. We had our ups and downs and are still working on our relationship for a different reason, but he loves me.
I hope you too are with a man who loves you truely.

I think this is such a common problem and i dare say there are plenty of men who will contradict me, but i found my wife even more beautiful when she was pregnant.
looking back and i mean at photos i took at the birth and just after, she looked like crap but after what she had just done you can understand.
But at the time i couldn't see it I'm sure your hubby will be the same women really do glow when they are pregnant with a beauty that's special.

I gained a large amount of weight when I was pregnant and three weeks after I had my daughter I had lost all of the weight plus some I was packing before pregnancy... As long as you excercise and eat right while your pregnant your body will go back to what it did before the baby!

I agree with the first answer, If he would be that shallow, then dont have his baby..
I also agree with Steve and the yummy mommy comment lol
My husband thought I looked even better since we had our daughter and still thinks I am beautiful now at 31 wks pregnant with our son..
Bottom line, if the man LOVES you no matter what, you will be the sexiest woman alive to him, period.
and I've talked to a lot of men about how they feel about pregnant women before, during and after, none of them were disgusted by it.. that would be one shallow piece of **** man (excuse my language,TY)

usually he is in love with you and the baby so much he won't mind also loads of women have babies and they don't look horrible afterwards the body has the remarkable capability to stretch as long as you don't over eat you will be fine :)

well i think my body has taken a turn for the worst since having my kids but my husband still seems very happy with it! still chases me round the house so it cant be that horrific to him lol.. i think having a baby together heightens your love and i think most men dont see your lumps and bumps and stretchmarks ect, when they love you they love your body as well xx

you have some issues if you believe this.
a pregnancy is caused by TWO people, any man who would think like that would be the disgusting one.
I don't know any intelligent man who loves his wife who would ever feel like that or ever has.
