Illegal, no. Violation of dorm rules, probably. So, no jail time, but evicted.

no but if the school finds out you might get in trouble. I know some girls who had a rabbit in their dorm all year but a rabbit is much easier to keep than a dog. they dont bark and need to go outside to go to the bathroom. some colleges allow pets but most do not. check with your school's policy. having a dog is not worth not having a place to just.

No not illegal, but against university policy. Universities or landlords can set tighter restrictions than state or local laws if they feel the need too. They can not have less stringent laws as compared to state or local. Those are the minimum requirements.

Not illegal. But more than likely against the rules laid out by the school. Since you are a 'tenant,' you would have to abide by any rules laid out by the 'owner.'

i wouldnt consider it illegal, but it may be breaching your contract with the landlord.
