should the current draft of th U.N Convention on the Law of the Sea(treaty) be ratified by the U.S. Senate?

In some ways it silly that we don't since we interpret it in a very conservative way and are one of the few countries capable of enforcing most provisions. And one of the main sticking points (manganese nodules) isn't even technically feasible at this time. But the real reason we should ratify it is so we can have a say in the next round of negotiations.
