You can get some great deals; its kinda like a huge garage sale. You do have to watch out for repackaged/refurbished items that may not work properly. Some stuff does also get overpriced when they try to convince you it is an antique of some sort, when it is really just crap.
It is fun to browse though, for surE!!!
I got a great new leather belt for pretty cheap at one in Florida and it still looks great after many years. It is funny to see some of the stuff that people will try to sell (and buy) at those things.

I found a pair of jeans that are normaly $250 but I got it for $20! YES! I love flea markets...thankfully the jeans still had the tags and price tag still on them or I wouldn't have bought them cause who knows who wore them before you? I also found a gucci purse for $50! That is so cheap compared to the normal price...I gave it to my brother's girlfriend for her birthday...she got me the same purse only the one she got me was $200! But I don't really like it and I feel bad...ok sorry that I rambled on...lol

i went to a flea market a few weeks ago and i got this awesome china plate with the last supper on it. My grandparents collect them, so i got it. It was 5 dollars. in a store they probably wouldnt find it!

I usually only go when I'm on the look out for a new dog. Why spend $300 for a purebreed that'll have all sorts of illnesses when you can get a good sturdy faithful mutt for $25?

Are you kidding, I'm the flea market, thrift shop queen.
Most of my furniture comes from there, then painted white, for that shabby chic look.
I got all my paintings/artwork from there. I love the surprise of not knowing what you might find.
