How rare is it to fined old Canadian Dollar Bills in a automated teller machine? I got a 1979 Canadian 20 Dollar Bill in a Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce automated teller machine just 3 days ago. Going by the only book I have that includes Canadian paper money the series1979 has black serial numbers and there are 3 varieties dealing with signatures.#1. Lawson-Bouey books for $150 in uncirculated. #2 Crow-Bouey books for $100 and #3 Thiessen-Crow $60. You need to see a Canadian paper money dealer.
