Is there any free car parking in or around Eindhoven railway (train) station in Holland? If not, is there any paid one around? how much per hour?

Could you please give me the address (post code) of the Eindhoven Train (railway) station, so that I can use it in my Sat Nav (GPS).

Also, any cheap accommodation in Eindhoven?

Thanks.

There are a couple of free car parking places within walking distance of the station (mostly street parking spots) but when it's busy you have to be lucky to get them. They are along the Boschdijk and the Hemelrijken. From what I understood there are also places on the Fuutlaan but I'm not sure if that's a place I'd put an expensive car. :) There will be other streets too.

There are multiple pay-parkingplaces around the station. For most you only have to pay during a part of the day. Click the link on the bottom of the page ("Hier vindt u alle parkeerplekken op een overzichtskaart (Flash)") to see a map:
http://www.eindhoven.nl/web/show/id=356211
Roll over the numbers to see details, times and price. "Eerst" means "first" (...hours), "Volgende" means "following". most of not all parkinglots are open and free after those hours. Not sure of the actual parkings. Check when you are there.

By the way, you're probably better off entering the name of the street where you have to be/want to park in your GPS as getting around can be complicated with all the one-way roads.

As to cheap accomodations; never needed to look for one. you can check at the tourist info to see if they can help you: http://www.vvveindhoven.nl/en/hotels/ Can't think of true hostels but the tourist board should be able to help you with that. And while you're at it: check for parkingplaces at the hotel. Most will have them.
The local youth hostel will be the one in Valkenswaard I think.

Have fun.

Free car parking in Eindhoven, or indeed any other city in the Netherlands, is I'm afraid highly unlikely. There are however, quite a few car parks close to the railway station, but you will have to pay. How much I can't say, but I would recommend inside, rather than street parking.
Post code for the railway station is 5611 (Stationsplein)
As for accommodation, try 'pension eindhoven' on Google, and choose from there, or try the VVV (Tourist Information) when you arrive. If I remember correctly there is an office in or near the Station.
Expect to pay between €25 and €55 for 'budget' accommodation
