I could camp out in the wilderness all year long from my wilderness experience, but summers and fall are the best times to go camping.

*I love going camping! Especially in the fall! Bon fires, tromping through the woods, the smell of the leaves, the wildlife, I love it all*

I enjoy camping all year long warm weather camping has it plusses ++++ especially for those who want to be a nature made humans, Cold weather camping takes special gear and ability to dress warm and in layers but the clothing can always be removed enough to allow comfortable sleeping and whatever else can happen if sharing a tent , Ever try just under the stars without a tent its quite a bit different and unique way of camping because bugs tend to disappear after the first frost... and if no precipitation is expected.. just sleeping and under the stars and warm mummy bag... are all it takes

Camping is for people that aren't afraid of the outdoors or afraid of the dark. I love it ! Spring is also great. Winter is good if you have a camper to help stay warm in. Love the campfires, the ghost stories or just the B/S that goes on around the campfire. Hot dogs and hamburgers, corn-on-th-cob,potatos. fresh caught fish. Some food just taste much better cooked over a campfire. With just a couple of friends or a whole group. People can relax and open up more. We go every year and have a crowd of about 50 people or more. We started out with just 7 people and each year, more join us.

Summer and fall are awesome times to camp. As long as you have a good tent, bag, and fire, the experience should be a good one. Of course, camping in a few feet of snow can get a bit rough if you dont have the experience, so I wouldnt suggest winter camping.. I prefer camping along Lake Michigan (Petoskey, etc.) but thats also because of my location.

Haha...the last time I went camping was a couple of years ago and it was at a camp ground and we rented a little tiny one room cabin! lol I would love to camp out under the stars though...I think that would be an awesome experience, especially with someone special right there to share it with! HE knows who I am talking about!!! =D

Hell, I'm going camping today. Well, I'm going to be hunting too. But theres snow on the ground about a foot deep where I'm going.

I can camp any time of year- and yup, I live in Alaska. We don't pu$$y out up here.

I actually went Salmon fishing near the Oregon Coast this past weekened and it was beautiful. We were discussing this same issue that it makes it tough to get up early when it's cold out, but very easy when you sleep late and the sun is beating down on the tent and it's to hot, you have to get out of the sleeping bag. I guess I prefer the warmer!

I love camping, but in the middle of the summer I need to be next to a tree line for shade. I don't get up at sunrise. :)

Only if I have a camper with a/c! We went tent camping last weekend close to Austin, Texas. It was still way too hot for that. We were all miserable.
