i am in a 12 team league and iam currently #1 5-0 record 577 points. My team is def the best in the league. with 2nd place being 4-0-1 with 556 points.

my roster is...

QB Tony Romo
QB Drew Brees
WR Plexico Burress
WR Laverneus Coles
WR Braylyn Edwards
RB Reggie Bush
RB Lamont Jordan
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Brandon Jacobs
RB Jamal Lewis
TE Kellen Winslow

The reason the comish wants me to give up my players is cuz i picked up Jacobs(in week 3) and Lewis (in week 6) after they were dropped by newbie rookies in the league that suck at managing their team, so i basically got these players for free. Now the comishoner is having a vote to have me give the players back to their previous owners because a lot of people believe its not fair.

so my question is......Is this fair? should i give up these players? does the comish have the power to make me do this?

a should also mention this league is for money.

Absurd!

It is NOT the commissioner's job to protect people from stupid decisions.

If they were on waivers, then everybody had a chance to pick them up.

Jacobs was hurt for almost a month, so what does he care!? Lewis had one good game.

The commissioner's only place to intervene is when there is evidence of collusion, or a player having a fire sale on players.

Is he going to help the rookies with their lineups too, because it's not fair if they put in the wrong players by mistake.

Totally unacceptable. He/she is completely out of line.

Hmmmm, where was the commish when you picked them up? If anything he should have said something before allowing the transaction to be completed. Especially since money is involved. But to be honest, niether of those guys are going to make or break your team. Jacobs is inconsistant due to injuries and lack of playing time this season, and Lewis is banged up. So yeah, give those guys their garbage back. You should still walk away with the title.

If you picked them up as waiver choices or free agency without others claiming them first, then it's just too bad for the commish and the others in your league. It doesn't sound like you've cheated, which is the only reason for voiding the moves.

You can try reporting his actions to Yahoo Sports, because I believe that's seriously overstepping his boundaries as a commissioner. If he didn't want things like that to happen, then he shouldn't have allowed newbies in the league.

That's BS in my opinion. It's not like you cheated to get those players and anyone else could have gotten them if they had higher waiver priority. This is a case of jealousy and the commish doesn't have a right to tell you how you should run your team. He's there to manage the league, not you.

well - that does suck a newbee dropped those players. I'm glad I play in a league where all 12 teams know what they are doing.

Jamal Lewis sucks so just drop him and hopefully it will satisfy the comish and other players...

That is RIDICULOUS! You should keep whoever you get from the waiver wire. Not fair? Tell them to learn something about Fantasy Football before gambling in a league. Don't do it. DO NOT give those players back. That's what's not fair.

If the league is for money, then you should not give up the players - the rookie-managers should have consulted before dropping RBs. The only way you should even consider it is if they give you your money back.

HELL no, you shouldn't have to drop them. It's not your job to babysit other owners, newbie or not. The commish is pissed cuz your kicking everyone's a$$.
NOt your problem. They'll learn.
