I read an article on Yahoo a couple of weeks ago that Green Tea works really good for those with high blood pressure. It's worth a try.

increase your dairy intake - stick to low fat products. it has been shown in a recent study in the US that if you get your three servings a day (recommended intake) the naturally present potassium reduces blood pressure by about the same amount as conventional medication. get it checked regularly by your doc and if you're over weight lose a bit if you can (dairy helps with this too). also, and very importantly, watch your stress levels!!! take care and hope this helps!
