Putin says he's still going to go.

Would GWB visit Iran if he had an assassination threat hanging over his head? Or any of our administration, for that matter?

It is not real. Putin is going to make a deal with Iran. So will China. Then all three of them will team up. The US is heading for a fall. But all nations will suffer as a result of the US being the one and only superpower. The US is pissing nation's off across the globe and it's people don't care about this one bit. Don't expect anyone to care when the US has it's asss handed to it.

There are always assassination threats made towards some heads of state. Hell, they even tried it on a religious man like the Pope. That's the reason why they have security. I don't think that Putin has anything to worry about. He's safer in Iran than in his own country. Unless one of them Iranian mullahs or imams turn out to be a suicide bomber.

If you have noticed GWB does not advertise his visits in hostile territory. Putin wants yet another photo-op as does President i'mdinnajacket of Iran. Yes, they are up to something alright. Nothing good for the US can come out of it. Thanks.

PS Russia already, along with China supports w/money into refinery's in the Persian Gulf just off Iran's coast.

Yeah and butterflys are going to be fitted with browning machine guns 3 per wing. No one messes with Russia, or America for the same reasons, power, nukes, size. The idiots prance around like faireys on a rock cake, shouting how good they are and how brave their people are, not the leaders mind you they are too shirt? scared to do anything personally. I believe if the mad mullahs tried it, both the U.S.A. and Russia would evaporate them and start again in a joint oil well venture, which may not be a bad thing, especially when you consider the morons that preside over Iran now.

I am sure this isn't the first time Putin has been threatened with death. However, he is a man he is a warrior. I am sure he is like most who are the same way, cautious but unruffled. It is only cowards like Bush who wouldn't do it.

Yep, but he's not worried. Bush hates to travel.
You can't condemn a whole country for the actions of an individual.

That was media BS. The media is the cause of much in politics. They cause more problems than they inform.
