Why do police officers always have the newest cop cars to drive?

What's wrong with them driving a 3 year old car, why do they always get the new stuff?

Because cops can wear a car's engine out fast with the Air Conditioning.

Because, they can't be changing tires, cleaning their spark plugs, replacing a bumper, changing a battery, putting in oil, and fixing their transmissions in the middle of a car chase!
