We met once before and again yesterday and had a really nice time....ended up going back to my place and fooled around but didnt have sex coz i refused....slept for a while then he left. I feel terrible coz i want him to respect me and now i feel i've ruined all the chances for that..didnt even want to get physical that soon....what should i do? We are both in our 30s so we are mature.

Relax. You are overthinking everything. I can pretty much guarantee you he is thinking nothing about respecting you or anything like that right now, because it just isn't something that most guys think about. Besides, if he didn't respect you at all he would've been extremely upset by not having sex. Keep your paranoia and hormones on a shorter leash and just relax sweetie.

You didnt ruin a thing. It is a major thing that you expected respect from this person and if he is mad at you for that than it would seem like he was there for only one reason. If he still wants to see you and doesnt talk about sex all the time then give him a chance. There are guys out there that do respect a womens needs and her privacy just like there are women out there that do the same. Let me know how it works.

You should of gotten his number, and not SLEPT OVER....

You want to take it slow. That's fine. If he is at a point in his life that he can hang with taking it slow good for you. If he is not then it was just bad timing.
