I am Egyptian doing my PhD in USA. Is it OK to visit KSC or the security measures will be tough or even disallowing foreigners (specially from Middle East) to visit the center ?

I visited 2 years ago - and there were many, many foreigners there. They do have security, naturally, but I dont think you would be singled out in any way. Certainly have your ID on you - but it is well worth a visit, it is a fantastic place.

I live in Scotland and we went to visit the Kennedy Space Centre and we found the Centre quite interesting you can even look at actual shuttles that went into space and loads of other interesting things to do. As to security as long as you stay in the designated places you'll be ok.

you would be subject to the same measures as any other tourist, such as having all bags searched, but that's about it. Off Limits areas are clearly marked, so as long as you don't try to sneak in there, you will be fine.

despite media evidence to the contrary, we aren't ethnophobic.

No restrictions...this is America, you can go where you want to go and do what you want. Our space program is there for all the world to see. Enjoy the tour...the moon rocket (Saturn V) they have on it's side in the huge building is awesome.
