Not a darn thing.
Alfred Nobel felt horrible about the uses to which his invention -- dynamite -- was put. So he endowed the Nobel Peace Prize and instructed that it go "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses."
DOES HE DESERVE THE PEACE PRIZE?
Al Gore has done exactly none of those things.

He narrated a movie that he was clueless about the contents. After all if he'd known how much green house gas he was personally responsible for he probably would've passed. Anyway, the nobel committee is filled with idiots and now they've proven it.
The reason all the libtards are so excited is they are praying the great white hopeless will run for president. It would be fun watching him get smoked again.

Gore doesn't need the money -- the prize is another slap at Bush just like the prize Carter got --

What exactly do YOU know that causes you to say he got rich off a big lie? Are you saying that global warming is a lie? Are you a scientist? Are you more informed than many scientists who agree with Al Gore's claim of global warming? Or, are you a conservative who feels the need to put down Democrats? If you don't know why Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize, you have not been paying attention.

the only think i can think of is, that he accomplished to brainwash millions of innocent minds, and became more popular then when he was a Vice President, and Made Millions by doing that.
I would nominate him as "Best Hypocrite in the Century".

He has been working from even before he was a Senator for a cleaner environment. His efforts to heighten awareness of the problem of pollution have been successful. People are now paying attention. They are discussing the issue. More money and effort is being put into research, development and manufacture of ways to reduce and eventually eliminate the effects of human interaction with nature that has been so negative. His efforts have made some in other countries get ahead of the US as we sit and play gotcha with facts and falacies regarding alternative energy. Instead of leading the world in new technology as we usually do we are lagging ever more behind because of those who just won't believe what he has been saying for the last 20 or so years. If he wanted to get rich off the so called big lie than he wouldn't have donated his part of the Nobel Prize to an organization working on improving the environment. You know, Bush has talked and talked about global warming and pollution etc., about alternative energy and says he is for it but hasn't done diddly squat. Actions speak louder than words. Gore is doing something. More than we can say about Bush or others in the GOP.

Which "big lie" are you referring to? His behavior has demonstrated his knowledge and necessity of changes that result in positive results for the benefit of our global population. There is no evidence that he has gotten "rich" from any misrepresentation of the facts. There is, however, evidence, that the candidate who was awarded the presidency of our nation by way of the deliverance of the state of Florida's electoral votes by Jebby, Georgies brother, was a blatant disgrace.

Punctured Bush's ego and the smug world view of his syncophants.
Educated many people about global warming and the need to cut back on wasteful and unnecessary consumption.
