Simply getting more people involved in both social and political issues. Not just voting but being involved is everyday issues, art, and building a culture that is healthy, Not just believing everything we hear on TV, and ignoring everything else out there. So general apathy is the biggest issue to me.

Social issue - is the lack of morals, solipsism, and "anything goes" attitude
Political - The great/extreme divide between the parties. the 5-10% minority (the same ones causing my Social issue) is causing a greater unrest than this nation is ready to handle.

Probably finding effective systems to replace the socialist ones being proposed, namely welfare, social security and universal health care. Something is needed to give people a chance to get back on their feet, but just giving them what they want is NOT the solution.
Like the parable says: Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for his life. We need to teach consumers of socialist services how to fish!

Healthcare though I'm not going into the direction the Democrats want to go.
But the biggest to me is the IRS. Its time to get rid of those thugs.

There are so many really important issues that we have done little about in the last 6 or so years. Right now the health care issue is of paramount importance and with it (equally) is ending the Iraq debacle.
