Houston, TX
If it weren't for the gymnastics, I'd recommend other places but for that I stick with Houston.
Excellent opportunities for gymnastics. (my niece was able to train under Bella Coroli (mispelled?) for the 1988-1992 Olympics (remember Shannon Miller's fantastic 1 legged dismount?)
Hot weather. Multicultural. Strong industries and businesses. Close enough to country living to be able to get away without having to go far.

You may want to do some research concerning Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is the home of Fort Lauderdale Stars Gymnastics, which is a Junior Olympic Gymnastics Training Center that offers USA Women's Levels 1-10.
The weather is what you describe as looking for and the city has a unique Neighborhood Organization Recognition Program. More than 60 distinct neighborhoods have received official recognition from the city.
Though known as a prime spot for tourists, it is a city that has a lot to offer residents. Again, you should do some research on areas that you feel are vital to make such a move.

I live within 100 miles [as crow flies...] but I can relate, it is just TOO expensive to breathe here. Places to move in CA: have you looked at Sacramento? Its just a couple hours drive, quite a bit cheaper and has a whole lot of everything going on there. It does have tulle fog in the winter, but the long spring thru fall pretty much makes up for that. You might like Modesto or Merced, maybe near Fresno, even. Also, some of the central parts near San Diego -- I have no idea about the cost, but it may be worth considering.
Outside California: Santa Fe, Las Cruces or Taos New Mexico; Tucson AZ, maybe Houston, Texas...I would suggest that you start looking for gymnastic training -- I think I heard that there are several in the south. [former olympians like Olga Korbet (?), Mary Lou Retton (maybe?).
Good luck!

Hey come to provo utah. Provo in 1991 was ranked americas most livable city. We have a world class gymnastics program in BYU (brigham young university)
it's consistantly ranked in the top gymnastics programs in the country. I love the mountains that rise up above our beautiful city. it's real hot 3 months out of the year, just perfect for 4 to 5 months out of the year, and real cold the rest of the time.
but in the fall and spring it's absolutly beautiful. Your looking for diversity.
90%of the people in provo speak 2 launguages.
the predominant religion in the area is very pro family
and so there are many family activities in the community year round.
Depending on where you live in provo, the neighborhoods vary just like any city, but most are fairly nice and peaceful.
There is hiking, biking, skiing, boating, fishing, available just minutes away. The economy is good, it's not hard to find a job here.
Are there Idiots and crime here, Yes, of course, every community has it's share of them. AND you'll find that anywhere you go, but I feel safe here. I love my provo utah.

I had a friend that lived in WA and she had some of the same thoughts. She moved in the Phoenix, AZ area and loves it. I'm not sure about the schools for gymnastics, but it doesn't hurt to Google it! Las Cruses, New Mexico is great too. It's not as hot at Phoenix, but it still gets hot. The people there are super sweet!

First thing to remember is to do your homework, always check your area with the local police station. It takes just a few minutes to see if there are any harmful people living in the area, you have child that may have to walk to school and your first concern is the children. You would have to do some research on single in the area, seeing that your also looking for some one to spend a little time with. Check you area for the single guide and also the nears school, learn more about the area by going threw the area at night. More people are home in the evenings, which helps you meet your neighbor's. Just some small tips before moving in any area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would invite you here to Canada, rxcept for the warmth. Vancouver, BC is breath-taking and mild by our standards.
It sounds like you'd love Oregon, just north of you, but steer clear of the volcano. I don't know about the job situation.
Pheonix, Atlanta, and Orlando, Florida
sound tempting to me.
I have relatives who used to live in Texas and Florida, but are very happier now in Nashville, Tennesee.
You might love Australia. Warm, very interesting, and much like America, in many ways.
Would you consider Dubai, the oil rich Middle East vacation spot? It is truly amazing! More amazing than words can express.
The rapid development in Dubai employs the largest construction crew in the WORLD, so you might be able to barely imagine the unbelievable growth of their economy!
Many top US corporations are putting offices there in Dubai, but it is not in America, so the day might come that you'll have to move on again.
You could move to Las Vegas, if you want a warm American job haven. I hear they're growing, and have lots of good jobs available.
On the other and, California is a big state. There's room for both you and your ex.

If 0.5 the relatives approves of the flow, and it rather is extra fee-effective for a extra more advantageous room, i'd say, choose for it. Getting extra for his money would be an progression to his life. Now how with regard to the foodstuff? Are they finished foodstuff or snacks. Do they get fruit every day. And what approximately pill dispension. Is somebody in can charge of that, to get rid of errors. some places have the overseeing of an RN. yet additionally many places can't arise with the money for the centers. And does the dispenser of the pills, positioned on rubber gloves for sanitary motives? there is a lot to contemplate earlier you displace him. make beneficial he can cope with the transition, so he does not get afraid after moving. I fairly have a chum, who died 2 days after her flow. She become dealt with badly by ability of team in that wing, and she or he went right into a catatonic recommendations set. And did no longer comprehend her daughter. and then she died day after today. So weigh issues heavily.
