It used to be 3x a week when I was working, then husband retired and banned the use of the vacuum cleaner when he was home because he couldn't stand the noise.
The only day he goes out by himself (he can't drive since having a small stroke) is on a Sunday morning, so that's the only chance I have.

I do a quick vacuum daily of the main areas the dogs chose to be in. I use a weekly cleaning lady who vacuums very thoroughly.

But bear in mind I have an 18 month old monster who loves making a mess!

Hmm, less often than everyone else, but we have no carpets downstairs. It's supposed to be my husbands job as the non- upright stylke he chose is bad for my back, but usually I end up doing once I can't bear to nag him any longer!

Once a month.
I have 2 cats who are terrified of the hoover and its scares the poop outta them for days after! They were badly treated as kittens and have never got over the sound of hoovers.
i have to put them both in cat carriers and put them in my car for 20 mins whilst i hoover the whole flat....fast!
