NO! It doesn't hurt the baby but if you strain too hard you will get hemorrhoids! If its that bad take a stool softener, its safe to take one with pregnancy

You're not getting enough fiber. When youre pregnant you NEED almost twice as much fiber as usual, and nearly twice as much liquid as you're usually drinking. Without those things you'll get plugged up.

You can cause contractions from pushing to hard, and in some cases, labor. But usually only when you're far along. What you can do is give yourself horrible hemorrhoids, that DONT go away after pregnancy. They are miserable things.

Phillips fiber laxative pills are safe and great for pregnancy, so is benefiber, its the ONLY ONE that doesnt give you gas. I ate it on my cereal in the morning. 4 of the phillips pills taken all at once before bed will get the train moving either that night or the next morning.

Sitting and pushing is bad, its not good for your body. I broke my water doing that.

The ear ache is probably unrelated to pregnancy, go have it checked out incase you need antibiotics.

i get constipated an have piles now which bleed sometimes not pleasant for now my stool seems to have softened. eat lots of fibre. your earache is probably just wax it just happens to be happening at the same time as your constipation. try to go the toilet when u need to it will come out when its ready. good luck with your pregnancy.

constipation in pregnancy is normal... and it doesnt hurt your baby... but more than likely you will develope hemroids... if you want to avoid them i would start using preparation H ointment until the constipation goes away... eat lots of fruit veggies and pastas and other things high in fiber to soften your stool and make you go to the bathroom more offen... good luck

You could be getting plenty of fiber and just be constipated. I am constipated all of the time, it's horrible, i hate it!! Doctor has okay'ed certain stool softeners and they really help! talk to ur doc about it.
