C: The weight of an object is slightly greater at the poles because the poles are actually closer to the center of the earth than the equator.

the respond is far less. Bobby is genuine. Gravity is consistent with mass and of direction gravity provides us weight. The Earth is fatter on the equator than on the poles so there is extra mass to the middle of the earth on the equator. much less on the poles, you weigh extra on the equator and much less on the poles. yet in simple terms very very slightly.
