i got lost (2)
Sometimes I fall down, and just don't get up,
Most of the time I don't care.
But now I am closer than ever before,
With no way to silence my pain.
Somehow or someway, I must of got lost,
On that same dark highway again.
I wish there was a way, that I could get back,
But another detour is ahead.
What do you see when you close your eyes tight?
What do you feel deep down inside?
Why do I even try to pretend,
To comprehend my pain once again?
I've tread on this path so many times,
But the hurt and the pain are still there.
I've tried to learn, but to no avail,
Why won't you just let me be?
Eyes that may open, yet fail to see,
The depths of my fading sanity.
The silent waves of a dying black sea,
Laying waste to the last bits of me.

Hi,
i can feel this poem was written out of an intense pain. No matter how much u try to be fine or feel alright, it is like a repeat of the former, the same thing, same pain you feel.
falling down has to do with mistakes you make and you don't make any amendments, you just don't care. But now, you are closer to something that seems to take the whole of you, some kind of destroy you and nothing nor noway or path can silence the pain you feel as you journey on.
You try to go on ahead on that same dark highway, but still find obstacles, somehow you want to get lost, away from this but ur wishes are longing. you want to get back to the normal life, but it seems far off.
We all see darkness when we close our eyes tight, what we feel deep down is fear, uncertainty which makes our heart beat fast. You try to understand the pain u feel all over again, but it is still the same.
You have been on the same road for long. Trying to change or even making an effort proves useless, cos the same pain is what you feel. You conclude that that is what you are meant to be.
Eyes are opened yet fail to see the unchanging pain affecting your sanity. Dying black sea waves lay waste just to carry the pieces of you.
This is a real passionate poem, and if this is how you feel, one thing i can tell you is that: You only you can create your own happiness by choosing to stay on the positve side of life. Allow the love of God to heal you. Find Him in the shinning stars, in the breeze, through the wind, shinning in the sun, moon, every musical note that is sung, every dream that come true, every mother's touch, every reason to love, on the face of a child, and the smile of a baby.
You are not a waste for the dying black sea to take away ur remains. You are the soil which the plant that beautifies the earth springs forth, for worthiness and beauty are your birth right.! !!!!!
Stay loved.

I liked the version before the re-write too.
I won't pretend to understand your pain, cause maybe I don't feel the same as you. If I am depressed I am for other reasons than you are, so yes I guess honesty is a rare thing these days.
Please don't let your sanity fade.

I love this Bri.. It takes me back to when i was in high school.. How i felt.. not good enough... knowing i was pretty, but not in the way i was "supposed" to be.. not in the "cool" way, like the other girls... I was more interested in nature and animals.. than in painting my nails and face.. I was different to the other girls.. and they made sure i knew it.. I did not care at all. I was happy in my interests. But the "cool" guys did not take an interest in me... at least not the guys that the other girls thought were "cool".. but the ones whose beauty was in the eye of this beholder did.. The fun we had, while the others worried about the "cool" things in life.. I wonder did they miss what was really important.. Real beauty.. I wonder to this day, have they discovered, just what it is to be REALLY Happy.. Time repeats itself.. My two daughters are so beautiful... but especially where it counts most.. On the inside.. To know them is to behold Real BEAUTY.. I just wish more young guys understood that Beauty... IS in the eye of the beholder. Instead of falling for what is expected rather than what is.. (-:

I hope you have never known me to lie, for the truth is my best friend, and the truth is: It's good. Don't change it any more, leave it the way it is and click the save button.
