Pneumonia and pleurisy at the same time,man was I ill.

One evening, I had a strip of chicken peeled off the back of a roast I had cooked on the morning. I ate it, chucked the carcass away and went to bed.
When I woke up, I had THE most horrendous pains in my stomach and was so sick I dropped nearly a stone and a half in a week to ten days. Stuff was running out of me from almost every orifice and I simply could not eat or drink anything...even the tiniest amount made the stomach pain start again.
I was so weak, I was hallucinating. I had headaches beyond anything I have known!
I have no idea what I had but it was awful...there are only a few select enemies I would wish it on!

I was starved of oxygen when I was born...the doctors thought I was dead and put me in the morgue. When they went to get me to show my parents 6 hours later they discovered I was still breathing and put me in the NICU but gave me a lumbar puncture with a dirty needle and the blood poisoning went straight up my spine to my brain. And then I got pneumonia and a nurse choked me on medicine and so on...anyway my mum nursed me at home in the end and I made a full recovery with no lasting damage. When I was 7 I got double pneumonia (pneumonia in both lungs) which was pretty hard. My weight dropped o about 2 and a half stone (35 lb). Oo, also, three weeks ago today I was in a motorbike accident and fractured my skull and had a brain haemorrage. I was in surgery for 9 and a half hours and woke up with no hair and a head and tummy full of stitches.

I had mono during my sophomore year in college. Not the mono where you get to kiss somebody, but childhood disease retrovirus Epstein-Barr mono. Apparently I caught it from my baby brother. I was 18. I most likely got sick when I was home from school babysitting my brother on his 5th birthday in October. By Thanksgiving, all of my glands were swollen and I couldn't breath and I looked like a chipmunk. I finished my finals early during the first week of December. I went home. I went straight to bed. I couldn't get up until my birthday in January when it was time to go back down to school. I was feverish and puked for 3 weeks and the doctor threatened to put me in the hospital on the IV because of the dehydration. And to add to the insult, my mom took me to the pediatrician, where I was propped up in the waiting room surrounded by screaming brats. I lost so much weight, I lost a shoe size. And my hair grew about 3 inches from all the drugs.

10 years ago I had a severe bout of tonsiliis. It was 2 weeks before my wedding and I was so ill i remember trying to get out of bed for a wee and waking up later on the floor. I was burning up, my head was like a lead weight, I was hallucinating and couldn't swallow. I've never been so ill in my life and had to have my wedding dress taken in after!

when i laughed at razzles Q&A! LOL just kidding.
about 15 years ago i had flu and a virus together, i was ill for about 3 weeks and i never want to feel like that again.

when I was 17 I got a tad drunk on martini (posh or what) and decided it would be great fun to go on the Waltzers at the fun fair.
Believe me - this is not something anyone should do...trust me.
I stumbled off and was then sick..........behind the kids bouncy castle and they all laughed at me and pointed at me. and my boyfriend (who is now my hubby of 18 years) thought it was hilarious

i had meningecocal meningitis when i was 7. All my veins collapsed, they had to cut my leg open. My heart stopped 3 times, I was on deaths door.
