Hello? Do you watch football? The Cowboys bring this upon themselves. They have an overrated wide receiver that drops 1 out of ever 2 passes tossed his way. He opens his big mouth, leaves cute little notes, and forgets to back up his stick in the game. Where was the original 81? Their quarterback, who I think is the most overrated qb of all time, to me like his name should be Tony Grossman... Anyways. This guy is already a huge star without putting up any kind of wins. Everyone is just ready to make him a big star and he's on board with it when he should be improving his game. Like hello... He had 5 ints against the Bills. Why would anyone give respect where it wasn't earned?

I agree the Cowboys got some help yesterday, but I don't think there is a big NFL conspiracy. Refs are human too, and make some mistakes. Actually there were several times during the telecast where the TV crew (which included Troy Aikman) were saying that there was a blatant pass interference or holding on the Cowboys, and the refs failed to call it. To the poster above who commented about the Witten fumble: That was a "fumble". There's no way the refs should have blown the whistle, since no part of Witten's body was touching the ground when the ball came out. The Lion's still could and should have won the game, regardless of the calls if they would have just fallen on that fumbled ball instead of trying to pick it up on the Cowboys last drive.

Two things during yesterday's game... OL #76 had a Patriot around the neck on the instant reply during a completed pass play by Romo in the third quarter, that wasn't called. And a very weak Offensive Pass Interference call on the TD pass to R. Moss.
The Pats scored all five times on their last 5 possessions. The Dallas defense couldn't keep pace, period. Dallas should've went for it on 4th and Goal anyway. They'd've either got 6 with Barber running or had the Pats in near their own end zone, and might've got 2 points and a kickoff instead of 3 points and to kick it away.
And during the Bills game how many referee's officiated Romo into throwing 5 interceptions and a fumble? During that game they got the call right that during the onside kick a Dallas player was past the 10-yard distance away from the kickoff.
Penalties don't matter that much anyway, when the Pats played the Raiders in 2002 (back when the Raiders had 3... yes THREE outstanding running backs) they had about 150 or 200 yards in penalties and still steamrolled us because the Pats looked like the JV squad trying to tackle them.
If anyone has a claim on bad officiating it would be the Seahawks during the Superbowl. Or the worst call of all-time was the infamous Chuck Knoblauch tagout of Jose Awfulman at 2nd base during the 1999 ALCS. All Boston fans remember that one, in fact, it's quite personal. Bottomline, champion teams find a way to comeback and win no matter what.

Watching the game yesterday. I would not go so far as that the referees had it out for the Cowboys. The officating was just bad. The were a lot of calls that were made that shouldn't have been made, and a number of huge non-calls. The Cowboys were hurt more by the calls, but the Patroits had a few bad calls go against them. The state of officiating as a whole in the NFL has been down for the past 4 years. Getting worse every year.

Cowboy try to be objective when watching a game. Yes the refs may have blew a few calls against the Cowboys. But they also blow calls against the opposing team as well. Because you are such a Cowboy fan you are only seeing the game one way. The NFL and commentators love the Cowboys. There games are always on TV. Hell, Tony Romo has two ESPN commercials. So your team lost it's not the end of the World. Don't be a sore loser.

Well being a cowboy fan,i thought the pats would have still won out right, due to the cowboys secondary being lacking,But the refs basically gave New England a TD in the 3rd Quarter which changed the Pats momentum ,If the cowboys had kept the Patriots frustrated like they did in the late 2nd to early 3rd quarter might have had a different outcome

Well, the Cowboys are better than I thought they'd be...Romo is out of nowhere sort of like Roethlisberger was for the Steelers and even Brady back in 2000 for the Pats...but it'll take longer for him to get a Super Bowl...

The penalty yardage was better than the result if the penalty hand't occurred, mostly sacked Romo for 10 yards and loss of down and Brady TD passes. They got lucky they committed the penalties in most cases. It probably would have been more of a blowout, otherwise.

No. The Cowboys have noone to blame but themselves. You take the lead in the third wuarter only to give it up like that? They aren't as good as the Patriots yet. That's all there is to it. They had the opportunity and failed. The refs had nothing to do with it.
