Has anyone ever seen there own mucous plug? If so, what does it look like? Im 35 weeks pregnant.?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and my mucous plug just came out last night. Mine looked like mucus. It was a clump of a mucus like substance. Mine was white and yellow but some women musucs plus has a bloody show or brown show. But I believe a general description of it is a musuc like substance.

I happened to be going to the bathroom when the mucus plug fell out with my first. It looks exactly like it sounds, slimy. What I saw was a long slimy stretch of stuff, that had a little blood (looking) in it. Shortly after that happened, my water broke and she was born the next morning (at 36 weeks). But everyone is different and some women report that they lost their plug a week or two before the baby was born. Hope this helps. Just remember that it is one step in getting your baby into this world and it's all worth it!

Like a huge snotty jell-o-booger like glob of mucus with blood streaks in it.

You'll lose bits and pieces of it, but the actual plus isnt loss until you have bloody show, or streaks of blood and spotting.

You will know it when you see it, it's unmistakable. Mines had a pinkish color and like the title(mucus plug) It looked like very very thick mucus. I would say it was about a cup full.

i found mine in the toilet 2 weeks before my daughter was born. it looks just like it sounds. nasty really. mine looked like a big bugger with some blood in it. i never felt a thing though. it fell out at 38 weeks. 2 weeks later my water leaked and she was born! good luck.

Yes - clear/whitish, globby, gelatinous goo. Can sometimes be streaked with blood, but doesn't have to be.
