Going to Rwanda to film herself 'giving back' to charity seems like a sham to me. Anyone else have thoughts about this?

I do.
Jesus, if you honestly want to give back, and give back for the sake of GIVING BACK, not for personal gain (i.e. be all over magazines/TV), then you wouldn't tell anyone you were going to Rwanda, you'd just go. And you certainly wouldn't film yourself 'giving back.'
Paris is a spoiled, self centered, egotistical pig that only cares about herself, not anyone else.
You think she really cares about the children of Rwanda?
Of course not! She just cares about being on the covers of magazines, getting more TV interviews when she gets back, and people thinking she's a freaking saint.

Celebs do this stuff all the time . . .

But to their defense . . . Their PR person is going to tell them that they NEED to have the publicity on it. Because a good deed unknown makes ZERO headlines... and 1/2 of a Celebs career (or more like 99.9999% in Paris' case) depends on Headlines and mag sales...........

So when they do a good deed, they BRAG via the media.

It is a lot like doing the dishes . . . When I do the dishes I make a HUG DEAL out of it . . . or at least I make it very well known that I did them . . . Cause if I don't, no one will ever know . . . They will never notice my good deed/chore completed . . . It may be shallow, but I want it known when I do some things . . . like house chores . . . But that also has to do with guilting the man into doing them at least once a week . . . MUAHAHAHAHA

I think Paris Hilton exploits everything, and everybody for her own gain and some sort of "self worth". She's really a sad and empty shell of a human being for having a family that is wealthy.
