My girlfriend has been on birthcontrol for 4-5 months now, and was normally pretty good about taking it @ 9:45pm like she started. the past month she has been off by a few hours maybe a day or two a week, how does this affect the effectiveness of the birth control, she says it'll be ok, and I let her know that if she is wanting to have sex soon then she needs to be taking it on time every night. So the past week she has been on the dot, should we be good to go on Fri. night?

As long as she takes it within 2 hours of time she is supposed to take it she should be fine. However no form of birth control is 100% so there is always the possibility of pregnancy. Especially if she isn't careful about taking it as directed. But you should be ok for Friday night.

If she is off by a few hours it won't affect anything. It will still work and will be just as effective. If she is missing doses and waiting to take the next dose until the next day then it will not be effective and there is a possibility of pregnancy.

If you do not want a baby you should always wear a condom. Some girls will lie and say they are on birth control when they really aren't. If you have even the slightest doubt...wear a condom unless you want to have a baby with her.

As long as she's taking it everyday then she is safe. Its if she forgets a day then you really need to be worried. But also you should use condoms just to make sure she doesn't get pregnant. Good luck

You should be using another method of contraception just in case. Better to be safe than sorry.
