What do you think of the name Jamison for a boy? Could it be used as a girl's name too?

I love it.
Sounds very strong and classy.
I see it more for a boy though.
But I guess it could be used as a girl's name also...just be sure to have a very feminine middle name so people know whether it's a girl or boy =)

i think Jamison is a good name for a boy. I don't think it would be good for a girl, maybe Jasmine for the girl.

IMO only good for a boy. Of course, he may want to be called "James" or "Jamie" until he becomes an adult. Jamison sounds like a pretty old name for a little baby. I do like it, though

It is cute for a boy...I would be afraid if you used it for a girl, people will associate it with Jenna Jamison(porn star)

I don't care for it much. I don't really like surnames for first names. And yes, it could be used for a girl. These days people give girls all kinds of masculine names. Not very flattering in my opinion.

Super cute. It could work for a girl, but most people will probably assume it's a boy.

It sounds great for a boy- he could go by James or Jamie as a child if he wanted to. It sounds too masculine for a girl, but you could name her Jayme. (you could spell it however you want.)

i think having son at the end of the name makes it too boyish for a girl perhaps if its a girl; jamisen or jamisan it has a lovely sound for either a boy or girl just take care with the spelling.
