WWE Divas? No. The only WWE Diva's that I take seriously are Beth Pheonix, Victoria, Jillian Hall, and Melina. (And Krissy Vaine, who recentley requested to be released.)

I take the TNA Knockouts seriously, too. Women like Gail Kim, Amazing Kong, ODB, Roxi, and pretty much all the Knockouts can actually wrestle.

Also, the female wrestling promotion Shimmer. They can all wrestle, and actually love what they do. They aren't just using wrestling as a stepping stone to Playboy as many of the WWE Diva's do *cough*ashley*cough*...

If you're basing women's wrestling with what the WWE gives us, then women's wrestling is crap. Most, if not all, of the women coming in are barely trained (and that includes diva contest winners), but they are expected to do something that takes years of practice.

WWE used to have a creditable women's division, but now it is nothing but models and glamour; there is barely any skill involved with women wrestlers anymore. TNA is trying to make a women's division (though a majority of their choices seemed to be based on looks as well), and independent organizations for women have always shown promise for the dismal, mainstream presentation for women wrestlers (Shimmer).

If people think women's wrestling is bad down here, they should watch Japan's women wrestlers. Those women are actually skilled compared to anyone in America.

Not many of them, atleast not in WWE. A lot of them are there for eye candy and nothing more, and being a female, I don't especially appreciate this. Only a few can wrestle, like, I hate to say it but, Beth Phoenix (yeah yeah say what you want about her she still has more skill that half of the other sluts). On TNA, I might take the women slightly more seriously.. They seem to be trying to really push their women's division which I appreciate. Maybe the women on TNA don't all look like the ones on WWE (ex. Big Mommy V, lol) but that shows that more of them are there for skill rather than just acting like a whore.

Since I have been watching wrestling Crude (1982) I have seen three women wrestlers I took seriously.
Chyna
Lita
Madusa
That's about it, the rest are either (Even though, don't get Me wrong, I like a lot of them) total freaks (Luna, Nicole Bass, Kong) or just Eye Candy (Candice,Trish,Sunny)

I would hope so. I guess it depends on the kind of wrestling. If you're talking about the kind that they do in school then I would certainly hope that they would and I have never seen an instance when they haven't. When you're talking about "professional" wrestling I guess they are taken just as seriously as the guys (meaning not very much). I mean, don't get me wrong those actors have to be really tough and in shape so they don't actually hurt themselves doing all those stunts

Not how they are presenting themselves now. The only one I take seriously is Chyna. She was not a 'diva', she was a wrestler. Maybe Beth Phoenix will take us in a new direction. I'm getting annoyed with the little pixie sticks we have now.

as long as they actually have wrestling talent, and arent just the newest playboy model on the block. not that there is anything wrong with that, but my view is that if you arent trained as a wrestler, stay out of the ring.
