Marino is genuinely one in all the ideal to have thrown a ball. regrettably the Dolphins of the 80s and 90s by no potential had a respectable working sport to compliment Marino's passing attack. seem at John Elway. He went, what, 13 years without a hoop? yet then he finally had a respectable RB at the back of him in Terrell Davis whilst he finally gained the Bowl. Did Elway all right now grow to be a great QB in 1997? No. He had constantly been a great QB. even though it took a stable working sport to assist Elway get his first ring. Davis became into arguably the main significant clarification why the Broncos gained their 2 rings. triumphing the SB takes a entire team attempt. As great a QB Joe Montana became into, those 49er communities had great protecting instruments besides. Likewise Terry Bradshaw and the Steelers. Hell, Trent Dilfer and Jim McMahon have been great Bowl triumphing commencing QBs however the defenses carried the Bears and Ravens whilst they gained.

Yes! Jim gets to learn from Peyton Manning, the greatest QB of all time, every week. So of course he is better than Dan Marino. If Jim Sorgi picks up half of what Peyton says, then yes, he is better.

This has got to be the funniest question I've seen. Jim Sorgi wishes he was half as good as Marino oh wait never mind he just wishes he could start!

This has to be one of the funniest questions I've ever seen. Having a ring does not make one better than one who doesn't. Trent Dilfer has a ring, did that make him better than Peyton before he won his? In no way should Jim Sorgi be considered or metioned in the same sentence with any QB who is in the hall of fame.

When given the opportunity Sorgi has proven that he has the potential to be a great QB. But, you can't compare him to Marino because he has never had the playing time.
Could he be as good......I think so.

Wow. This is too stupid to answer.
Oh hell, Trent Dilfer has a SB ring and he played the game. Is he better? Ditto with Jim McMahan, Mark Rypen, Len Dawson, Kenny Stabler, Joe Nameth, the list goes on.
53 players on the roster. One man doesn't get the win, he just has to do his job.

I don't think it's a stupid question - it's just a way of saying that measuring players by rings is dumb. Unfortunately, too many people still judge players based solely on that criteria.
