You have your own Bathroom, so I don't care which position the seat is in. How does it feel to have cold porcelain on the hiney at 3 in the AM?

OK to save the relationship, yes. If putting down the seat saves a relationship, then so be it.

If that's all a bloke would have to worry about, I'd say he's got a good thing goin' on.

Btw,. I'm the only female in our house and I'm constantly putting the seat down...only after my 4 year old uses it. My husband always remembers to put the seat down....aw, what a darlin!

as a female i had to answer. if a toilet seat is going to end the relationship then it is already doomed. toilet seats are not a big deal to most women and if it is the woman needs to get a reality check!! if she is too stupid to look before she sits then she deserves the wet a$$!!!

If 'the seat being up or down' is the only thing wrong with the relationship, I'd say the two of you are pretty lucky. Guys, do the best you can to remember, it is very important to us! Ladies, nobody's perfect so if it's dark, turn the damn light on and if it's up put it down.

Now, "Can we all just get along?".

If the seat being left up is the reason for the failure then it's not worth saving

Its simple physics. It takes more effort to lift a toilet seat because of the force of gravity. To lower it is effortless because gravity drops it. So my answer is no. If she's that petty you are better off without her.
